Invisalign® clear aligners – your journey towards a straighter smile

Invisalign in horsham
STEP 1
We will take you through the case assessment, which is a simple set of photos to determine whether you are suitable for Invisalign treatment.
STEP 2
If treatment is right for you, we’ll take photos, x-rays and digital scans, or a dental impression, of your teeth. Then we’ll create you a digital treatment plan, using our state-of-the-art technology, showing you what your results could look like via a 3D video.
STEP 3
We'll give you a series of aligners to wear every day and change at home – on average every 1-2 weeks (as directed by your dentist). You can comfortably wear your aligners for 22 hours a day (the recommended daily wear). And because they're removable, it’s easy to maintain your normal oral hygiene routine and enjoy your usual diet.
STEP 4
We'll invite you back to the practice around every 4-6 weeks to monitor progress and hand over your new aligners. At the end of your treatment, you will need to wear your retainers to maintain your new smile.

All you need to know about Invisalign® clear aligners

A healthy, confident smile can help you feel more comfortable smiling in everyday situations.

If you are considering teeth straightening treatment, Invisalign® clear aligners are a modern alternative to traditional fixed braces: offering a more discreet and convenient treatment option.

What are Invisalign® clear aligners?

Invisalign® clear aligners are an orthodontic treatment that uses a series of clear, custom-made aligners to gradually straighten teeth. Each aligner is designed to move your teeth in small, controlled steps over time.

The benefits of Invisalign® clear aligners:
How Invisalign® clear aligners can help

Using advanced digital planning, Invisalign® clear aligners can be used to treat:

Your dentist or orthodontist will assess your teeth and bite to determine whether Invisalign® clear aligners are the right teeth straightening treatment for you.

How does treatment work?

The time needed for Invisalign® to work its magic can vary depending on your individual needs and the complexity of your treatment. This means the cost of treatment will vary too, depending on how many aligners you will need. At your initial consultation, your orthodontist will advise you on how long your treatment plan will take and how much it will cost.

The treatment process:

Custom-made to fit your teeth and your lifestyle, Invisalign offers many benefits beyond your brand-new smile:

1. Your consultation

You’ll start with a consultation with an Invisalign® Provider. During this visit, your provider will review your dental records and take digital scans of your teeth to understand your smile goals and dental health.

2. Your personalised treatment plan

Using advanced 3D technology, a customised virtual treatment plan is created just for you. This plan shows how your teeth are expected to move step by step—from their current position to your planned final smile—so you can see the projected results before treatment begins.

3. Custom aligners are made

Once you and your provider approve the plan, your custom Invisalign aligners are made to fit your teeth precisely. The total number of aligners will depend on your individual treatment needs.

4. Wearing your aligners

You’ll wear your aligners for 20–22 hours a day, removing them to eat, drink and brush your teeth. Every one to two weeks, you’ll switch to a new set of aligners as directed by your provider. Each new aligner is designed to gently and gradually move your teeth closer to their final, planned position.
